Clyde Died!
For 20 years “Clyde the Camel” was an institution at Arrowhead Service on I-15 in Moapa. He apparently died of old age. Lee Bishop acquired Clyde when he was less than a year old in some sort of horse trade. The friendly beast has been an attraction at Arrowhead for generations of locals and tourists who loved to stop by and feed him alfalfa cubes or bananas. Many remember Clyde’s “Clyde’s Comments” column in the Valley Herald Newspaper.
