It’s food swap time again, which means time to get creative with my swapping stuff. As I was perusing Pinterest, I came across a couple of different steak rub recipes that – things being what they are – I didn’t have all the ingredients for. No worries, I took the basic idea and came up with my own. I call it a Spaghetti Western Steak Rub because I added fennel, which wasn’t an ingredient in any, but a substitution for a substitution of (did that make sense? X can be a substitute for Y. Y is a substitute for Z, therefore, X is a substitute for Z… or vice versa).
