MVTAB denied approval for Omega Vista Again
Representatives from the Las Vegas developer Omega Vista appeared again before the Moapa Valley Town Advisory Board to seek approval for zoning for the proposed Logandale Town Centre major project on the former Adams Ranch property in Logandale. In total the proposal would have brought up to 640 housing units to the community on roughly 163 acres. The overall density would be around four units per acre. What was absent from the proposal was reference to the design amenities for the project. The board voted unanimously to deny the application.

Moapa Fire District Applies for Station Site
An application was made to Clark County to have five acres of land needed for the Logandale fire station amended from the land set aside for the fairgrounds. The firehouse would be about the same size as the, then new, Moapa firehouse and located next to the Grant Bowler Elementary school.
